Bún Cha (noodle soup) is “standard fare” for breakfast in Vietnam. A sweet broth with vegetables (carrots, “green” papaya, onion etc), small grilled pork patties, garlic and chilli, with a side serve of white noodles (vermicelli) tppped with a fried spring roll.
Plus, my host has dolloped an extra serving of garlic and chilli.
