“Extra chilli?” I’m up for it – even for breakfast, in Vietnam

“Extra chilli?” she asks. I’m up for the challenge.

Bún Cha (noodle soup) is “standard fare” for breakfast in Vietnam. A sweet broth with vegetables (carrots, “green” papaya, onion etc), small grilled pork patties, garlic and chilli, with a side serve of white noodles (vermicelli) tppped with a fried spring roll.

Plus, my host has dolloped an extra serving of garlic and chilli.
