QANTAS Board opens the emergency door: out goes CEO Alan Joyce
Thrown under a 737: Qantas Board has sent CEO Alan Joyce packing, without the “Farewell Tour”. Joyce is being tossed out of the emergency door tomorrow.
Now is the opportunity to rebuild the Spirit of Australia with honesty rather than publicity.
Australia’s National Carrier – financed by taxpayers although a privatised business – should make Australian tourism its priority. Qantas should be much more than just an artificially inflated share price.
