Fish and Chips I ordered, and a Fish and Chips I got.

A cleaned but complete tilapia – head, eyes, fins and all – salt rubbed and freshly fried.

With chips, salad and mayo.

I’m not a huge fan of “farmed river fish” in this part of the world – South-East Asia- but this is a good value, tasty meal for VND117,000 (US$5/AU$7.50).

The fins and tail are crunchy, though I “passed” on the head and eyes – a pity I don’t have a friendly neighborhood cat where I’m staying here, in Nha Trang, Vietnam!
